5!!!

.......The number of people in our household.

.......The number of bedrooms in our home.

.......The number of hours it took me today to clean said home.

.......The number of daycare *littles* that were "helping" me clean said home.

.......The number of times I read the youngest littles favorite cow book.

.......The number of hours until I get a much needed date night with hubs.

FIVE!!!

.......The number of years today that I have been married to my bestfriend!

The weather was cloudy all day...until half way through our vows!  Then the heavens opened up and watered the mums!

My cousin Kim on my right , My best friend Lisa to  my left, and my SIL to the left of Lisa.  My daughter Kaitie in front {she was 9}

Our colors were periwinkle and silver!  I made EVERYTHING!  The flowers, the invetations, the centerpieces, the bulletins, and I even wrote and sang a song for my soon to be husband!

We've had our ups and downs. We've shared some pretty stressful situations, we've shed some tears together, we've laughed until we pee'd {ok me - maybe not him so much} We've never gone to bed angry with each other. Most of all we have loved each other every day of those 5 years!

Happy Anniversary Ron! I love you!

Halloween's A Comin'!

A fellow blogger friend had posted that she wanted to do a Halloween ornament exchange for anyone that was interested!  I LOVE, Love, love halloween~ {almost as much as Christmas!}  So I responded that I was all in!  I received word back as to how many to make and where to send them.  Then it hit me.....

I DIDN'T HAVE A HALLOWEEN TREE!!!!

I was going to be receiving 10 wonderfully yummy ornaments and had nothing to showcase them on!  I got right on that!

I found a large branch lying in the woods, sprayed it with black paint {a new obsession!!  Spray Paint!} Stuck it in a very large lime green vase that I had sitting in the kitchen corner, sprayed it with silver glitter spray that I found in the craft dept at Wally World!

TA DA!!!

I thought it looked a little plain - so I tied orange ribbon on some bare branches~

The bats are the ornaments that I will be shipping out for my exchange!  I saw something like them in a craft catalog and made my own pattern and variation!

This guy is my fav!!

I can't wait to get my ornament package in the mail and decorate this up with lights and maybe some purple, black, green, and orange pompom garland!!

Happy crafting -
Stephanie
